L’Institut national du cancer lance son appel à candidatures RTH 2022 visant à la structuration de la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle en radiothérapie. L’objectif de cet AAC est de soutenir la formation d’un réseau national de recherche préclinique en radiothérapie ayant vocation à se positionner au plus haut niveau de la recherche internationale.

La Fondation des entreprises du médicament pour l’accès aux soins soutient dans le cadre de son appel à projets 2021 des projets oeuvrant dans le domaine de l’oncologie pédiatrique qui concernent les deux axes suivants :

• Axe 1 : Facilitation de l’accès aux soins pour tous :
  • Projet visant à faciliter et coordonner le parcours de soins des enfants
  • Projet visant à améliorer l’information des enfants et des parents
  • Projet visant à renforcer l’équité territoriale et socio-économique, sur les conditions de dépistage, de diagnostic et de soins

The European Union reinforces its efforts to encourage more young women and men to make a career in research, promote its attractiveness for top talents from around the world, retain its own researchers and reintegrate those working elsewhere. The Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the main instrument at Union-level to do so. Since their launch in 1996, they have become the Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.

In the context of Horizon Europe, several MSCA calls for projects are launched in 2021, including:

Le Fonds France-Canada pour la Recherche (FFCR) finance chaque année une vingtaine de nouveaux projets portés par des équipes françaises et canadiennes n’ayant jamais collaboré auparavant. Les équipes lauréates se voient attribuer des bourses d’amorçage allant de 8 000 à 15 000 CAD, essentiellement destinées à financer la mobilité des chercheurs et des étudiants entre les deux pays.

Afin de renforcer ses actions d’information, la Fondation ARC a décidé de soutenir financièrement des manifestations scientifiques. Le thème de ces manifestations doit être en lien avec la recherche en cancérologie et peut relever de tous les domaines et disciplines participant à la lutte contre le cancer, depuis la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle jusqu’à la recherche clinique, incluant l’épidémiologie et les sciences humaines et sociales. La priorité sera donnée aux manifestations dont les thématiques seront les plus proches de la stratégie scientifique de la Fondation ARC.

L'ambassade de France en Belgique finance des séjours de recherche vers la France afin d’accélérer les meilleurs projets menés entre la France et la Belgique dans le domaine de la santé globale. Une attention particulière est portée aux projets ayant une ouverture européenne et préparant une demande de fonds européens (Horizon Europe).

The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds (BIF) awards PhD fellowships to European citizens working in Europe or overseas and to non-European citizens pursuing their PhD projects in Europe. Drug tolerant persister cells represent a subpopulation of drug tolerant cancer cells that proliferate slowly, if at all, in the presence of drugs and can re-enter the cell cycle after drug withdrawal. The IRCI (Immune responses in cancer and infection) meeting is organized by researchers from two leading centers in Lyon, the CIRI (Centre international de recherche en infectiologie) and CRCL (Centre de recherche en cancérologie de Lyon). De nombreuses publications sont consacrées chaque jour aux petits ARN régulateurs (miARN, siARN et piARN), parfois en contradiction les unes avec les autres. Le non-spécialiste  a ainsi des difficultés à se faire une idée réelle de l’état du domaine. L'objectif de cette École thématique Internat21 est de faire le point sur les connaissances établies, de mentionner les controverses actuelles, de donner tous les éléments objectifs sur les controverses passées et de lever les ambiguïtés de nomenclature et de vocabulaire, afin de donner aux participants les connaissances leur permettant de comprendre l’ensemble de la littérature du domaine.

MiFoBio (Microscopie fonctionnelle en biologie) est l’école pluridisciplinaire du CNRS portant sur l’imagerie du vivant. Organisée par le GDR ImaBio et le RT Microscopie photonique de fluorescence multidimensionnelle, elle regroupe tous les deux ans une large communauté de scientifiques constituée de biologistes, physiciens, instrumentalistes, chimistes ou mathématiciens. Elle a pour objectif de traiter des avancées technologiques et méthodologiques en imagerie biologique et de leurs applications dans tous les domaines de la biologie.

La formation en ligne NGS et Cancer a pour objectif d'initier des chercheurs académiques franciliens à l’analyse de données RNA-seq avec R Studio, en prenant l’exemple de l’analyse de l’expression différentielle de gènes. Un cours d’approfondissement de 1 ou 2 jours, facultatif, permettra à un nombre limité de personnes de revenir sur certains points de la formation, appliqués à leurs données.
