L’exposition chronique à des agents environnementaux ainsi que les conséquences du changement climatique peuvent avoir des impacts multiples sur la santé humaine. Dans ce contexte, la Fondation pour la recherche médicale souhaite soutenir :
- des approches interdisciplinaires visant à une meilleure compréhension des modes d’action des agents environnementaux, seuls ou en mélange, dans l’établissement des processus pathologiques (incluant les cancers) ;
- des études pilotes destinées à évaluer l’acceptabilité des capteurs de mesure ou à évaluer les impacts potentiels de l’utilisation des capteurs de mesure sur les modifications de comportement vis-à-vis de l’exposition aux facteurs environnementaux.

Cet appel à candidatures de l’Agence nationale de la recherche est dédié à des chaires d’excellence dans les départements et régions d'outre-mer et collectivités d'outre-mer (DROM et COM), avec quatre objectifs :
- attirer et ancrer de jeunes chercheurs et enseignants chercheurs de haut niveau, exerçant en France ou à l’étranger, vers des établissements de recherche ultramarins ;

Le cancéropôle Grand Sud-Ouest organise les 15es Journées du Club SMAC (Statistiques et mathématiques appliqués au cancer), autour du thème « Désescalade thérapeutique en oncologie : Que pouvons-nous proposer ? ». Ces 2 journées regrouperont l’ensemble des acteurs impliqués sur cette problématique et seront un lieu d’échange autour de trois sessions :
- essai de non-infériorité : de la problématique clinique à l’implémentation ;
- critères de jugement centrés sur le patient et stratégie d’analyse ;
- essai de non-infériorité dans des populations spécifiques et évaluation des thérapies innovantes : même combat ?
Une 4e session d’ouverture sera proposée, introduisant la notion d’apprentissage par renforcement et son application au contexte médical connu sous l’acronyme DTR (Dynamic Treatment Regimes). Ces journées SMAC sont ouvertes à toute la communauté scientifique francophone, académiques comme industriels.

Le projet French Biobank Network, soutenu par France 2030 et coordonné par l'Inserm, a pour objectif de faciliter l’accès aux collections biologiques pour la recherche. Une enquête nationale est lancée, afin de dresser un état des lieux complet des échantillons biologiques mobilisables ou utilisés pour la recherche en France, et ainsi :
- valoriser les collections existantes et leur potentiel scientifique,
- identifier les besoins de structuration des biobanques,
- contribuer à une plateforme nationale facilitant l’accès aux ressources pour la recherche.

La Commission européenne devrait publier en 2027 un appel à projets intitulé "Leveraging functional genomics to reveal novel targets for cancer treatment", autour des axes suivants :
- To identify and validate new targets for innovative therapeutic approaches, by developing experimental models (Any relevant preclinical or clinical model including but not limited to in silico, in vitro, in vivo or ex vivo models) and technologies to access the functional effects of tumour temporal heterogeneity on disease initiation, progression and relapse.
- To investigate the mechanisms underlying the interply between the tumor’s dynamic multi-omics characteristics, its microenvironment and patient specific factors (such as: genetic background, immune status, age, sex, and comorbidities) during disease initiation and progression. This includes elucidating the mechanisms of adaptive resistance to therapies, utilizing clinical data where appropriate
- To apply state-of-the-art approaches, tools and models to integrate and analyse FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) multimodal longitudinal patient data.

- intégrer différentes technologies, méthodes et expertises (modélisation, IA, single-cell, lineage tracing, spatial OMIC, organoïdes, etc.) pour avancer sur des projets interdisciplinaires communs, notamment en cancérologie ;
