L'ITMO Cancer d'Aviesan publie un bilan synthétique de ses missions et actions au cours de la décennie 2011-2021. La brochure ITMO Cancer d'Aviesan 2011-2021 : une décennie d'implication dans les Plans Cancer présente sa contribution à la définition de la stratégie de recherche dans le cadre des plans nationaux de lutte contre le cancer, ainsi que son rôle pilote dans la programmation d’une recherche fondamentale thématisée et pluridisciplinaire sur le cancer. Ce document revient également sur une mission historique des ITMO de l’Alliance : l’animation scientifique des communautés nationales par grands domaines - ici, le cancer - et la promotion de la recherche fondamentale française à l’international.

Dans le cadre de la Stratégie décennale de lutte contre les cancers 2021-2030, l'ITMO Cancer d'Aviesan lance des appels à projets pour l'année 2023, dont la gestion opérationnelle est confiée à l'Inserm.

Le programme Van Gogh est le partenariat Hubert Curien (PHC) franco-néerlandais coordonné par l’Institut français des Pays-Bas, qui soutient les mobilités des chercheurs français et néerlandais dans le cadre d’un projet de recherche conjointement établi. The Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking (IHI JU) of the Horizon Europe Programme is a partnership between the European Union and industry associations representing the sectors involved in healthcare. This course will bring together internationally renowned experts who will present the latest innovations in the clinical management of breast cancer, on both diagnostic and therapeutic aspects, as well as the latest advances in the understanding of biological mechanisms such as plasticity, tumor heterogeneity or genomics of breast cancer.

La 11^e édition de l'École de bioinformatique, organisée par l'ITMO GGB (Génétique, génomique, bioinformatique) d'Aviesan, l'Institut français de bioinformatique et l'Inserm, s’adresse à des biologistes directement impliqués dans des projets “Next Generation Sequencing” (NGS). Elle s’articulera autour de trois ateliers thématiques en session parallèle (bulk RNA-seq, ChIP-seq/ATAC-seq, variants DNA-seq), d'une nouvelle session "single-cell RNA-Seq", et d'une introduction aux technologies “long reads”.
