EACR - Conference: Cancer Cell Plasticity

December 2th - 3rd 2025, Virtual

The European Association for Cancer Research conference "Cancer Cell Plasticity: Cracking the Code of Adaptation and Survival" will explore the fundamental mechanisms that control cancer cell plasticity at multiple biological levels, including the epigenome, transcriptome, metabolome, and cellular microenvironment. Experts will also discuss innovative approaches to target cancer cell plasticity using novel pharmacological interventions, aiming to prevent or reverse the adaptive mechanisms cancer cells use to circumvent conventional therapies. Le programme Impact Santé, confié à l'Inserm par l'État, a pour objectif de soutenir le développement de solutions pour faire face aux grands défis scientifiques, technologiques et sociétaux dans le domaine de la santé humaine. Les projets "d'amorçage" ou "d'accélération" contribueront notamment :

The aim of the international course "Post-transcriptional Gene Regulation", organised by the Institut Curie/PSL University Training office, is to provide an overview of post transcriptional gene regulations at multiple levels, including (pre-)messenger RNA splicing, polyadenylation, modifications (epitranscriptome), localization, translation and degradation.

Sorbonne Université - DU : Biopsies liquides : de la biologie à la clinique

Année 2024-2025

La faculté de santé/Sorbonne Université lance la première formation universitaire française consacrée aux biopsies liquides, avec les objectifs suivants :

  • consolider les connaissances sur les principales étapes de la tumorigenèse et de la dissémination métastatique ;
  • développer le concept de biopsie liquide : avantages et limites ;
  • exposer les différents composants de la biopsie liquide (ADN tumoral circulant, cellules tumorales circulantes, vésicules extracellulaires circulantes) ;
  • expliciter la pertinence clinique de chaque biomarqueur circulant pour une médecine personnalisée proposée à des patients atteints d’un cancer solide ;
  • détailler les technologies d’isolement et de caractérisation des différents marqueurs et se familiariser avec les outils d’analyse dont la bioinformatique et l’Intelligence artificielle.
